THE MARTIAN SOUND REDESIGN

This is a spec sound design that I did for my sound design class in the Fall of 2016. I chose this scene from The Martian primarily because it offers a lot of opportunity to practice sound, and I love the film. Matt Damon performs lots of interesting actions with no human dialogue (I did not include any grunting/human noises in this project), so it was fun to match sound to this scene. This sound track was created with Avid ProTools.
